An Introduction

Cambridge Clinical Research (CCR) is a UK-based secondary care patient recruitment company dedicated to conducting clinical trials across all therapeutic disease areas in Phases 2, 3 and 4.

We offer our pharmaceutical, CRO and biotech clients access to:

  • 15 UK hospitals (University and District General Hospitals)
  • 7+ million patients
  • motivated investigators who receive ICH-GCP training
  • our professional Clinical Research Nurses (CRNs)
  • our Study Start-up Group
  • on-going study administrative support including ethics and R&D submissions
CCR was established in 2000 to provide hospital consultants with dedicated Clinical Research Nurse and administrative support to enable them to run clinical trials. Originally focussed on a small number of therapeutic disease areas, CCR quickly expanded into other secondary care disease areas, partly through requests from our sponsors and partly requests from new consultants seeking our help. We now offer our services in all secondary care disease areas within our East Anglian and Yorkshire Networks.

Feasibility Studies

A successful trial is a well planned one and feasibility studies aid detailed planning. We strongly recommend that all trials are preceded by a feasibility study so much so that we offer to undertake them for you for free. We offer two levels of feasibility assessment to suit your needs - for details click here

Recruitment

We are always on the look out for people interested in becoming Clinical Research Nurses and occasionally we have other vacancies to fill - for further details click here
